The Emerging Enterprises Council

The mission of EuropaBio’s Emerging Enterprises Council (“EEC”) is to provide advocacy for priorities with European authorities in order to ensure that the needs and interests of small and medium-sized biotechnology companies are addressed at the European level.

Today, the EEC focuses its activities on improving the financial environment for both private and listed biotech companies in order to increase the global competitiveness of the European biotech industry.  The EEC’s goal is to define and support measures, which would allow Europe to give a strong signal to the rest of the world that Europe is becoming again a more attractive and competitive area for biotech and other high-tech entrepreneurs and companies to establish and expand their businesses.
