Industrial Biotech (IB) Council

EuropaBio's Industrial Biotechnology Council is made up of representatives of companies and national associations with an interest in industrial biotechnology and biobased products. The members within the IB Council cover the entire value chain: from feedstock to end product.  

 

Mission

The mission of the IB Council is to create awareness of the potential (economical, environmental and social) of white biotech, to position industrial biotechnology as a priority for research and innovation, and to obtain concrete political and financial support to develop a competitive and sustainable bio-based economy in Europe.
