Industrial Biotech Council

At EuropaBio, the Industrial Biotechnology Council, the Industrial Biotechnology Policy working  group, the Raw Materials Working Group and the Biofuels Task force (a joint task force of the Agri-Food Council and the Industrial Biotech Council) promote this important field and encourage joint industry-government actions to speed the development of white biotech. The Industrial Biotechnology Council counts corporate members and national associations whose interest is focused on industrial and environmental applications of biotechnology. The Council sets priorities on legislative matters and communication actions for white biotechnology to promote this new emerging area of application and is assisted by the Industrial Biotechnology Council working group.

Industrial Biotechnology Policy Working Group

The Industrial Biotechnology Policy Working Group supports the Industrial Biotechnology Council in developing a common policy approach on the European level for the area of White Biotechnology.

Raw Materials Working Group

The Raw Materials Working Group Industrial Biotechnology supports the Industrial Biotechnology Council in developing a common approach on the European level for raw materials in the area of White Biotechnology.

Biofuels Task Force

The task force is a joint effort of the Agri-Food Council and the Industrial Biotech Council. The biofuels task force represents biotechnology-based biofuels and related companies at the European level. Its mission is to advocate coherently favorable policies, strategies, regulations and their implementation for research, finance, and market access of biofuels.
