MEPs and Members got together in
Strasbourg to discuss patient-centred healthcare system in Europe
and the role of biotech. Eleven
Members of the European Parliament, including Vittorio Prodi, Alojz
Peterle and Milan Cabrnoch, amongst others joined 8 MEP assistants
and around 20 Members from the Healthcare Council and National
Associations for a 20 October event at the European Parliament in
Strasbourg entitled ‘Patient centred healthcare systems in Europe:
what role for biotech?’ Designed as an interactive networking lunch
with visuals and videos, the aim of the 2-hour event was to
communicate to new and returning MEPs the value of healthcare
biotechnology for patients and society.
