What research will Europe need to
increase competitiveness of agri-food, forestry and related industries?
Over the last year scientists and
experts have set out a research agenda to meet this need. The "Plants
for the Future" research agenda will be be unveiled on July 5th during
a Press Conference at the Hilton Strasbourg from
10:30
to
11:30am (9:30 to 10:30am UK TIME); this will also be web cast live from
www.europabio.org
There
will be key-note addresses from Commissioner Potočnik, Commissioner for
Science and Research and Mr. Giles Chichester MEP, Chairman Committee on
Industry, Research and Energy, and personalities from industry, research
and agriculture. One to one interviews can be arranged from
11:30
to
12:30pm.
