books and articles, participates in the public debate and
teaches in biotech research conditions, genetic modification,

industry and equipment. They include emerging biotech companies

Lithuanian Biotechnology Association (LBTA) was founded in 2003,
14 October. Association members are physical persons and legal
entities.
The purpose of LBTA is to represent Lithuanian biotech companies
and research institutions, to organize actions that stimulate
progress of the biotechnological sector. LBTA prepared the
Program on the Development of Industrial Biotechnology in
Lithuania for 2007 - 2010, that was approved by the Government
(2006), founded the Lithuanian Biotechnology Platform (2007).
The National Integrated Program of Biotechnology and Biopharmacy
was prepared together with the Institute of Biotechnology and
Lithuanian Association of Pharmaceutical Industrial Enterprises
(2008). |
