The JIB combines an expanding exhibition with a top level scientific biomedical congress and gathers every year an increasing number of participants, biology wide actors, among them 20% foreigners. Liberal and hospital biologists, internship students, researchers, laboratories technicians and secretaries-they were nearly 9 500 to meet at the 2007 edition to get information about the latest scientific developments, to dialogue and discover the new technologies innovations exhibited by more than 160 companies. This year, a new sector will be pointed up, via the BioMI pole, dedicated to Molecular Biology.
