Healthcare biotech and the new EU Pharma rules: what's at stake?

The European Parliament is due to vote by the end of this year on the first
and most comprehensive reform of pharmaceutical rules in Europe (I). Its ramifications
will not only be felt by traditional pharma but also by biotech companies,
whose biotech medicines now account for 20% of all marketed medicines and
50% of those in development.
