GM crops: Britain held back in bio-technology by EU laws - MP

Bio-technology could be the answer to providing for global food demand, as well as keeping the UK at the cutting edge of science and research, according to an enquiry by the government’s Life Sciences Advisor, George Freeman. But EU legislation is preventing the use of technology like GM crops, says Freeman. VoR's Flora Neve reports.
