At EuropaBio, the
Industrial Biotechnology Council and the
Industrial Biotechnology Council working group promote this
important field and encourage joint industry-government actions to speed
the development of white biotech.
The Industrial Biotechnology Council counts corporate members and national
associations whose interest is
focused on industrial and environmental applications of biotechnology.
The Council sets priorities on legislative matters and communication actions for
white biotechnology to promote this new emerging area of application and is assisted by the Industrial
Biotechnology Council working group.

The Working Group Industrial Biotechnology supports the Industrial Biotechnology
Council in developing a common policy approach on the European level for the area of White Biotechnology.
