EuropaBio launches SME BioForum in Rare Diseases

17/01/2023
PRESS RELEASE

Brussels, 17 January 2023 – EuropaBio marks Rare Disease Day on February 28 with a dedicated SME BioForum.

The meeting is invite-only through EuropaBio national associations and driven by SMEs. Executives will connect with their peers, share their commercial development experiences and discuss the current regulatory and incentives framework, ahead of the revision of the pharmaceutical legislation and the legislation on orphan and pediatric medicines.

EuropaBio will follow up the BioForum with a published set of challenges and recommendations for policy, regulation and European defragmentation in research, data and clinical trials for SMEs to ensure that their critical role in European Healthcare is enabled.

Rare Disease Day takes place on February 28th across the globe to raise awareness among policymakers and the public about rare diseases and their impact on patient’s lives and their families.
