SUMMARY:German Biotechnology Days
DESCRIPTION:Germany’s largest biotech event\, the German Biotechnology Days 2021 (Deutsche Biotechnologietage\, DBT)\, will take place on 20th and 21st September in Stuttgart. With over 800 participants\, the event is regarded as the German class reunion for biotechnology. The DBT brings together entrepreneurs with scientists and partners from politics\, funding institutions and administration. \n\n\n\nIn plenary sessions and numerous symposia\, top-class speakers present and discuss the diverse fields of application and the potential of biotechnology\, from health research to bioeconomy\, from medicine to industrial production and plant breeding. Exchange and networking traditionally play a major role at the DBT. The big evening event on the first day of the conference is therefore a further highlight. In addition to the conference programme\, there will also be a large exhibition. \n\n\n\nThe German Biotechnology Days are jointly organised by BIO Deutschland and the Council of German BioRegions. The host region for 2021 is STERN BioRegion from Stuttgart. As a partner region\, we are looking forward to BioLAGO\, the network for the health industry in the Lake Constance region. \n\n\n\nAbout the organizersBIO Deutschland e. V.\, the industry association of the German biotechnology industry\, and the Council of German BioRegions have been jointly organising the German Biotechnology Days since 2010. The forum for the German biotechnology scene takes place annually at different locations.
