DESCRIPTION:The theme of the Patient BioForum 2025 is From discovery to access: towards a patient-centric health European ecosystem. \n\n\n\nThe event is hosted by MEP András Tivadar Kulja\, who will hold a keynote speech\, and concluding remarks will be given by MEP Stine Bosse. \n\n\n\nThe panel discussion is moderated by Dr. Nicholas Whyte (Senior Director – APCO) and includes: \n\n\n\nRosa Castro (Public Affairs Director\, EURORDIS)\,  \n\n\n\nLeire Solis\, (Health Policy and Advocacy Director\, IPOPI)\,  \n\n\n\nSolène Jouan (Policy Officer\, European Patients’ Forum)\, \n\n\n\nIrene de Cara Torres (Head of Policy and Government Affairs International\, CSL Behring)\, \n\n\n\nDr. Claire Skentelbery (Director General\, EuropaBio)\, \n\n\n\nRainer Becker (Director SANTE.D Medical Products and Innovation). \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nThe event gathers patients organisations\, industry leaders and representatives of EU institutions to discuss how the regulatory framework and future legislations (General Pharmaceutical Legislation\, EU Biotech Act and Critical Medicines Act) will support innovation\, availability\, and access to medicines for EU patients. \n\n\n\nEuropaBio’s Patient BioForum aims to facilitate the exchange of views and expertise on scientific\, regulatory\, and policy issues between patient organisations\, the biopharmaceutical industry and policy makers. \n\n\n\nFor more information\, please contact Beatrice Rocco: b.rocco@europabio.org \n\n\n\nRegistrations for people that do not have a badge to access the European Parliament will close at 12:00 on 6 May 2025.
