European Forum for Industrial Biotech and the Bioeconomy 2020 (EFIB)

This year's 13th edition of EuropaBio's annual EFIB conference, will provide a platform to shed light on the role bio-based innovation can play with regard to implementing the European Green Deal and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of a green recovery.

We have developed a conference format that will deliver 5 days of insights and engagement during the digital conference week from 5 to 9 October. It will bring together the most exciting companies, policymakers and other experts from the bio-based industry.

What you can expect:

The programme will focus on different industry sectors and business areas: Green. Circular. Sustainable. | Food, Feed & Nutrition | Fashion & Textiles | Financing & Investing | Materials & Packaging | Bioprocesses & Technologies

Each of the topics will be highlighted with insights, news and a pre-event webinar series on sustainability challenges and opportunities after COVID-19 to start discussions before the conference week.

Additionally, you will be able to access academic poster presentations, and to engage with stakeholders through our digital EFIB stakeholder guide on bio-based innovation. The guide is a new format which will provide an overview of all major EFIB stakeholders from industry, academia and finance.

Virtual 1:1 partnering will be possible 24-hours/day throughout the whole conference week to accommodate all times zones.

The #EFIB2020 dialogues on sustainability after COVID-19 will make the wait for EFIB 2020 bearable - follow the latest updates on the webinar series here!
