The seven ambitions for innovation of Anne Lauvergeon

In a report published today, the Innovation Commission chaired by Anne Lauvergeon recommends that France focuses on “plant based proteins and green chemistry”, stating that “R&D and innovation means are very limited while research areas are very important (green biotechnology in particular)”. The Commission also suggests the introduction of an “innovation principle” to balance the “precautionary principle” enshrined in the French Constitution.
