Hungarian Biotechnology Association joins EuropaBio: Strengthening Hungary’s Biotech Voice in Europe

Brussels, 28 November 2025 – EuropaBio is proud to welcome its newest member, the Hungarian Biotechnology Association (Magyar Biotechnológiai Szövetség), into its growing network of national and regional biotech organisations.
Founded in 2003, the Hungarian Biotechnology Association serves as the national platform representing Hungary’s dynamic biotechnology ecosystem. Its membership spans startups, SMEs and large biotech and pharmaceutical companies. The Association’s mission is to promote innovation, foster collaboration between industry and academia, and support policy development that enhances Hungary’s role in the European biotech landscape.
By joining EuropaBio, the Association aims to connect its members with the broader European biotech community, facilitate cross-border partnerships, and ensure that Hungary’s biotech innovations are visible and influential at the EU level. The organisation is committed to contributing to EU policy discussions and strengthening advocacy for Hungarian biotech companies and research institutions.
