Brussels, 3 February 2025 - EuropaBio is proud to announce the membership of Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant, an independent pilot- and demonstration facility specialised in process development, scale -up and custom manufacturing of biobased products and processes.

Established in 2008, Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant is at the forefront of converting renewable feedstocks into biochemicals, biomaterials, biopesticides, foods, cosmetics, and other bioproducts. With over 700 projects completed, the company works across various industries and sectors, from small startups to large corporations, and actively participates in European consortium initiatives.

Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant brings extensive expertise in biotechnological process development, scale-up, and industrial biomanufacturing. As a EuropaBio member, it looks forward to supporting its growing community and working collaboratively with other members to drive the sustainable innovation that Europe needs.
