USA, March 2023 - The Bold Goals for US Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing - Harnessing Research and Development to Further Societal Goals follows the Executive Order on Advancing Biotechnology and Biomanufacturing Innovation for a Sustainable, Safe, and Secure American Bioeconomy.

The document defines targets and objectives to "harness biotechnology and biomanufacturing innovation to further societal goals and transform industries". It is divided in (1) climate change solutions, (2) food and agriculture innovation, (3) supply chain resilience, (4) human health, and (5) cross-cutting advances and is authored by the Department of Energy (DOE), Department of Agriculture (USDA), Department of Commerce (DOC), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and National Science Foundation (NSF).
