EuropaBio AGM 2025: Association Chair, Executive Committee and Board announced

EuropaBio’s 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM), held on the 26th of June, welcomed a new Association Chair, Markus Stämpfli, representing CSL Behring. It also confirmed a new Executive Committee and Board members, plus new members from across biotechnology ecosystems and international locations.
EuropaBio welcomes the new Executive Committee & Board representatives, who will bring leadership from across their respective sectors within biotechnology, and will prove invaluable in guiding the association going forward.
- Markus Stämpfli representing CSL Behring, elected as Chair of the Association
- Ion Arocena representing AseBio, elected as Treasurer
- Ricardo Gent representing Deutsche Industrievereinigung Biotechnologie (DIB), new Chair of the National Associations Council
- Jessica Martinsson representing SwedenBio, new Chair of the SME Platform
- Ana María Bravo Angel representing IFF, renewed as Chair of the Industrial Biotechnology Council
- Giovanni Colombo representing dsm-firmenich, elected as new Board Member
- Philippe Ghyssels representing Ipsen, elected as new Board Member
Additionally, 14 new member companies and associations were confirmed during the AGM, expanding the diverse set of members contributing to the biotechnology ecosystem in Europe. EuropaBio welcomes Adisseo, Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant, Bronkhorst High-Tech, Dansk Biotek, Enduro Genetics, Hawkwood Biotech, KINTIGA, NIBRT, OM Pharma, Sartorius, ShakeUp Factory, Syneos, Synonym and Vintura.
