EuropaBio, the European association representing Bioindustries, will host an evening reception co-hosted by MEP Stine Bosse (Vice-Chair, SANT) and MEP Eszter Lakos (Member, ITRE), to discuss the role of the European biotech sector in making the European industry more competitive.

Lorena Boix Alonso, Deputy Director-General at DG SANTE, and Kristin Schreiber, Director at DG GROW, will share some remarks on the European Commission’s approach to the biotech sector in the new mandate.

Algal Omega 3

Algal Omega-3 is an innovative feed product for aquaculture. It reduces the impact on climate change by 30-40% compared to fish oil and saves 60 tons of wild fish for every ton of Algal Omega-3 used.
