April 2024 - The study analyses bioeconomy policy trends between 2020 and 2024 and aims to contribute valuable insights for policymakers, researchers, and other stake-holders involved in shaping the evolving bioeconomy landscape.
A few examples of mega policy trends between 2020 and 2024 are (1) bioeconomy as a key enabler and solution provider to global sustainability challenges, (2) more countries and regions worldwide are developing strategic visions for the bioeconomy, including developing and emerging countries (3) international and multilateral cooperation as a building block for the bioeconomy.
