Zürich, January 2023 - To make the Bioeconomy real, develop for scalability and creditworthiness is a co-authored report by Olon and Blue Horizon. It sets the context of "biomanufacturing, the production of food ingredients and other materials via microorganisms, is emerging as a promising building block for a more sustainable, healthier and resilient economy – the bioeconomy". Following, the report focuses on three main themes in scaling up biomanufacturing: go-to-market plan, bioprocess development and financing approach.
