Biography
She has worked to champion biotechnology across sectors through the Council of European BioRegions and the European Biotechnology Network before moving to the Nanotechnology Industries Association.
She joined EuropaBio in 2020 and in addition to her current role as Director General, she is also the Vice Chair of the International Council of Biotechnology Associations (ICBA) and Governing Board Member for the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI).

Vlad Olteanu

Biography
Prior to this, Vlad has worked for many years with top-tier law firms, global corporations and consultancies delivering legal advice, public affairs strategy and its implementation for actors in public (including the European Commission, the World Bank, EU Member States) and private sector.
Vlad is a Belgian and Romanian national who studied mathematics, economics, law and political sciences in Romania, Belgium, France and the United Kingdom. Apart from his native Romanian, he speaks English, French and Italian. Vlad likes photography, reading (fan of behavioral science, strategy, game theories, history and literature), theatre and chess.

Biography
She brings over 15 years of experience in EU public affairs, having worked with a diverse range of organisations—including pharmaceutical trade associations, patient organizations, and, most recently, a public affairs consultancy where she provided strategic guidance and developed tailored advocacy campaigns.
A dual Belgian and Italian national, Laura holds an MSc in Information Management from Aberystwyth University (UK). She is fluent in English, French, and Italian.
Outside of her professional life, Laura enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, and rock climbing.

Biography
Şara is from Turkey. She speaks Turkish and English fluently, practises French to maintain her skills, and is currently learning Dutch. She is a car enthusiast and loves to travel and discover different cultures and people.

Biography
A French and Romanian national, she holds a Master Degree in European Law from the Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne University.
Prior to joining EuropaBio, she gained experience in the public (French Ministries and Council of State, European Commission) and private (Danone, Brussels-based consultancy Political Intelligence) sectors, where she build expertise in regulatory and public affairs with a focus on food and health legislation and policies.
In her spare time, Oana enjoys drawing, reading and going to flee markets.

She is French from a small town in the Alps. French and English are her first languages, but she also speaks Italian.

Marcos is a Spanish and French national from the southern coast of Spain. In his spare time, he enjoys practicing different sport modalities, cooking or simply spending time in beautiful outdoor locations.

Biography
At EuropaBio, he manages a network of 25 European national and regional biotechnology associations and coordinates a platform of several thousand small and medium-sized companies. He is responsible for advocacy strategy design, policy positions, external engagements and events.
He holds a PharmD from the University of Coimbra and several certificates in European Business Law, Market Access and Economics. He is a Portuguese native, fluent in English and Spanish. He has an intermediate knowledge of French and is learning German.

Victor Daras

Biography
Prior to joining EuropaBio, he gained experience in the public sector (Brussels Parliament, European Commission) and the non-profit field (social inclusion NGO), where he developed expertise in advocacy, policy analysis and institutional affairs. He holds master’s degrees in European Studies, International Relations and History.
A French national fluent in English and conversational in German, Victor nurtures a deep interest in philosophy and above all history.

Adrian Lincoln

Biography
He holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Exeter and a MSc in Plant Science and Biotechnology from the University of Leeds.
With a strong interest in genetics, he shaped his path towards pursuing a career within the scientific world. He has experience both in and out of the laboratory. While working as an intern, he found a passion for communications & events that also put his graphical design talents to use.
Adrian is fluent in French and English and is learning Dutch and Spanish. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, reading, singing, electronic music and making digital art.

Biography
She continued her education in the field of IT during the first years of her career. She started in 1995 as Information Officer for the Animal Health Federation where she created the first Extranet for its members before joining EuropaBio in 2004. Christine's roles within EuropaBio include office & IT management and she is also the assistant to the Director General.

Majken Ekam-Nielsen

Biography
Majken is a Danish national; she holds two bachelor’s degrees, in Business & Hotel management and Business and Organizational Psychology respectively. She is trained in Belgian social law and is a certified prevention counsellor. She speaks Danish, English, French, Dutch and German.
In her spare time, Majken creates made-to-order cakes and enjoys cooking, music, and gardening.
